My initial reaction was that Adam winning is very bad. I heard he campaigned to keep his clique-mate Sara as opposed to me which is fairly reasonable to assume. Because of this, and the fact that we don't talk a ton, I was thinking that he might nominate me this week using the previous argument of me being inactive.

But I actually feel safe this week! Why? I JUST talked to Adam and we had a pretty good talk about how he was in a shit situation and didn't want me to feel that he was gunning for me. To prove it, he told me that I'm not even going up this week.

I don't know how he actually feels about me, because playing to me "straight up" persona would be a pretty good play on his part to make an ally of an enemy. Regardless of how genuine his little speech was, I'll take not getting nominated ANY DAY.

So get hyped people, it looks like right now Johnny Mac is here to stay!!!

Nomination ceremony reaction:

So, I'm gonna be honest. At first, I was NOT happy about these nominations because I really like Pilar (even though she isn't on much) and because I can at least work with people like Audrey for the time being since she's in my clique.

I put a little thinking in, and I realized that this could actually work out really well if Audrey left. What's the end result there? I'd end up with a tighter threesome (heh) with the USA's, gain more trust from Pilar, rid myself of a shady player in Audrey, and reduce the target on team USA's back and keep it on the Canadians. 

After this it became a no-brainer, with the only hang up being how many votes we could assemble. Sure enough though, Jackie's little beef with Audrey spreading rumors of her being the lone Aisha vote (that's still hilarious to me) ended up spreading a pretty negative opinion of Audrey. 

JMac's evil plot:

Jackie and I ended up talking with a couple people, namely Michael. I think the votes are most definitely there to evict Audrey. I know the three USA would be in, and Michael can probably bring in the other 2 Aussies. I don't see a reason why the Canadians would campaign against Pilar so it looks pretty promising right now. As long as we can keep it on the down low before veto, I can't see a negative to this. All it's doing is further solidifying some of my relationships and getting rid of a shady player and an unwanted perception of my clique being super powerful.

Let's fucking go. Johnny Mac is making moves people, the first of the game I might argue considering this could be thought of as the end of the inactive purge (to an extent).

A lot of people shared my sentiment about Audrey and I'm fairly sure she's going home. Maybe I didn't have to spearhead the move like I thought I would but that's fine with me. In the end Pilar trusts me more, same with Jackie/Vanessa, and a target gets pulled off USA onto Canada for having 4 people left.

Future Plans:

I'm really debating how much I want to push the "Canada is too strong" narrative. I wanna get involved and maybe influence people a little bit, if they need it. But at the same time, I don't wanna inadvertently get Pilar or Zach into trouble. I'll probably lay off for now but it's something I plan on breaking out if I have enough influence on the nominations to keep Zach/Pilar safe while also putting up Kevin or Godfrey.

Once again I'm gonna try and get this HOH. I think it'll, at the very least, oust someone I don't talk to and get people to open up with me about who their targets are. Having information is something I'm trying to put a bigger focus on and no one has a bigger information advantage than the HOH getting opinions.

Game analysis:

I think I've been doing ok. I faltered a little bit in terms of activity there but I've been back on a nightly basis ever since. I've been doing surprisingly well in terms of general BB strategy I think. I've really just been following a lot of the same principles I use in Survivor. Obtain information, manage perception of myself and others, reduce target level.

Right now I think only a few people would even consider putting me on the block so that's not terrible for someone who had a rocky social start. As soon as I can, I'll be taking these people out and hopefully settling into a bigger alliance. 

I'm weirdly ok with not being in a bigger alliance right now. I say that because up until now (even this week) the house has mainly united over a common enemy and passively agreed on most things. Soon enough, someone's gonna end up fighting for their ally to stay and that's where we're gonna see sides split.
